Heritage Place Retirement Residence recently participated at Hamilton’s Soupfest and took home the “Foodie Choice” award for their Charred Leek and Mushroom Soup, beating out many local restaurants.
Recreation Manager Nancy Chobrda said that the event was a lot of fun. “Everyone that tried our soup came back for more. People wanted buckets of it to take home!”
Staff from Heritage Place were also joined by two residents, Lynda and Joan, who had a great time helping out.
