Avalon Retirement Lodge’s Make a Wish Program

Avalon Retirement Lodge’s Make A Wish program in combination with the Credit Valley Explorer was able to grant resident Christine’s wish to take the Credit Valley Scenic Train Tour. The tour passes through a little town south of Orangeville called Inglewood, which happens to be where Christine lived for many years. She often watched the famous train pass by and wished that she could take the train and see where else it explored. There were months of anticipation as we purposefully booked the tour in October to take in all the beauty of the fall colours. October 8th was the day, and boy was it ever a beautiful one. Christine describes the trip as breathtaking and would do it all over again.
