ORCA was pleased to present another successful Summer Conference, with more than 200 delegates attending over the course of three days. Held at Hockley Valley Resort in Orangeville from September 9 – 11, the conference featured numerous opportunities for networking, learning and having fun. Between the Dinner with a Board Member, the Welcome Reception, the Golf Tournament, the IceCulture Contest, the Commercial Members Appreciation Reception (a new one this year!), the Farm to Table Dinner and Entertainment and Hospitality Hockley Style, we hope attendees had a fabulous time.
The Education Day this year featured expert speakers including Dr. John Sloan, Scott McLeod (CEO Central West LHIN), Cathy Hecimovich (CEO Central West CCAC), Marianne Walker (CEO, St Joseph’s Health Centre and OHA Board Member), Dan Burns (CEO OACCAC), Kyle Prosser (Maple Environmental), Ephraim Stulberg (MDD Forensic Accountants), Shirlee Sharkey (CEO Saint Elizabeth Health Care), Jayne Harvey (FCS International) and Randall Craig (President 108ideaspace).
